1.) Our assignment was to create a web page using weebly.com

2.) How is a webpage useful for educators? Webpages can be useful for educators because it will allow them to see the different things other educators put up and it will help with new ideas.

3.) I will be trying my best to update my weebly website. I do like it and I did spend time fixing it up so I hope that I will be updating it.

4.) Weebly was a new site to me so i had a hard time learning how to work it. But when I got a hang of it I found it to be very cool. I like the click and drag part of it. It made the designing of the site easier. I dont think I found a dislike about weebly.

Elluminate Live Presentation

Today we presented our slideshare presentation through Elluminate Live. Things were doing fine until the internet decided to give us problems. But we managed to get through and I thought it was very interesting.
If I had the chance to do it all over i would change the font on my powerpoint when it uploaded to slideshare it didnt show the same font and it wasn't clear.
The challenges were when people got kicked off and and how slideshare didnt respond for a while. I also think another challenge was the links, they didnt want to open or not everyone could open them.
The most exciting thing I learned was that technology really helps people with disabilities. It is nice to see that at least people with disabilities can communicate with people because of technology.

Elluminate Live

The websites that Bree showed and talked about were very interesting. The wolframalpha was a pretty interesting website. I think it would make a good site for doing research. Another thing that I found to be very interesting was the website that the school has, how parents can access it and see their childrens grades and attendance. I thought that was very cool.... hehe :)
I think Elluminate Live is a good alternative to learning because students have the chance to interact without being there in person.
I dont think i have any dislikes for Elluminate. It is an awesome software!!!!! :)

I chose my topic because when I walked into the classroom and saw the whiteboard, it got me interested. The most insightful thing i learned was that these boards are very handy for presentation. I know it will get kids really listening to lectures when using it because they can see the learning happening. I liked slideshare because it publishes the powerpoint and others are able to view it. I would use slide share in my class by having student load up thier powerpoint presentations and other students are able to view it.

Timelines

In class today, we created a timeline about ourselves using each-nology.com. That site was awesome because it makes making a timeline very easy.
Also we used another site called computeristory.com and it had many years that we could click on and it tells what happen with computers and technology during those years.
Xtimeline.com is another site that we used today. We created a timeline and posted it on our xtimeline page. it created the timeline for us and all we had to do was scroll to view the timeline.

I would definitely use the timeline in teachnology. I would make my students log on and create a timeline about themselves and share it with the class.

i would rate the software xtimeline with a 7 because i think it could make the site a little easier to work with
teachnology, would be rated a 10 because it is very convenient.
